Nu slechts € 13,99 Formed from the ashes of the goth-noise band Love Life, Celebration specializes in aggressive, chaotic indie-rock that belies its festive name. Fronted by the husky-voiced Katrina Ford, the trio takes its cues from the Birthday Party, Siouxsie & the Banshees, and other brooding post-punk acts, but frames this aesthetic in an overtly angular way that places the group alongside peers such as Yeah Yeah Yeahs and TV on the Radio. (In fact, the latter band's David Andrew Sitek produces this album, and all members of that Brooklyn group make guest appearances here.)
