Nu slechts € 17,99 A 25-track collection of the often scintillating Special Duties' finest 45s, a brief run from 1982's pummeling debut ''Violent Society,'' through a clutch of furiously fun covers (the Adverts' ''Gary Gilmore's Eyes,'' the Lurkers' ''Shadow,'' the Killjoys' ''Johnny Won't Get to Heaven''), and onto what remains their best-known number, the harsh denunciation of ''Bullshit Crass.'' In between, the band hit hard and fast every time, with a series of sonic smash and grab raids that seldom take more than three minutes (and many don't even need two) and position Special Duties among the mere handful of punk bands who have not only weathered the decades since their prime in one piece, they have actually continued on the same course with barely a waiver.
