Whether it's the outright avant-garde abstraction of their second album, or the blistering power punk and dub-inflected anarchic anthems of the debut, despite the genius of frontman Mark Perry, the group's later records fall a little flat amidst the confusion and veer closer to the new wave sound than most punks would dare to venture. ~ Martin Walters
