Nu slechts € 13,50 Filmed live at the London Astoria on the winter solstice in December 2005, the then current lineup of Dave Brock, Richard Chadwick, Alan Davey, and Jason Stuart (plus guest Jez Huggett) turn in a performance that is never less than solid, even if it does occasionally feel workmanlike. Based largely around the then recently released Take Me to Your Leader album but dipping back, of course, to more classic-era material, this is one of those live Hawkwind releases that you play a few times after adding it to your collection, and which will seldom be disturbed again. One for completists, then, although versions of ''Paradox'' and ''Psychedelic Warlords'' are well worth repeated listens, and it's nice to see the unjustly obscure ''Brainbox Pollution'' B-side given an airing, too. ~ Dave Thompson
