Nu slechts € 20,50 As the first double-disc collection of original rap material released, 2-Pac's first post-prison album, All Eyez on Me, would have been notable, even if the rapper didn't deliver the musical goods. However, he has made a sprawling album that illustrates his talents quite effectively. Certainly, the album could have been trimmed down to one disc, but his ambition is admirable at a time when even the big hip-hop artists play it safe. Yet even with the abundance of unfinished-sounding material, there are enough prime tracks -- from the G-Funk update of the Dr. Dre duet ''California Love'' to his smooth soul experiments -- to make the record an engaging, fascinating listen. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
